MRC Marks World Restart a Heart Day with the Launch of Hiyvarugadha
On 16 October 2026, the Maldivian Red Crescent marked World Restart a Heart Day at Avid College, Malé - joining Tiny Hearts of Maldives to officially launch Hiyvarugadha, a joint campaign for heart health and life-saving action across the Maldives. The World Restart a Heart Day event was supported by the Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation through the Community Action for Resilience and Empowerment (CARE) Programme — a three-year community-based programme delivered by MRC in partnership with the Foundation, focused on strengthening community health, psychosocial support, and social inclusion across the Maldives.
