The Türkiye and Syria Relief Fund was opened by Maldivian Red Crescent on 07th February 2023, in response to Emergency Appeal by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to respond to the deadly earthquake in Türkiye and Syria and support the relief efforts. The relief fund was opened from 07th – 14th February 2023

About Türkiye and Syria Relief Fund 2023
Maldivian Red Crescent opens opportunity to donate funds for the Emergency Appeal by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to respond to the deadly earthquake in Türkiye and Syria and support the relief efforts. On 06th February 2023, The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has launched Emergency Appeals for CHF 200 million to respond to a deadly 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The Turkish Red Crescent and Syrian Arab Red Crescent have immediately mobilized to support communities affected.
