To me volunteerism is

Relaxing, fulfilling and life changing. I’ve enjoyed meeting different people from all events and activities. I’ve also learnt that everyone is different. We shouldn’t judge people before you know them. Everyone, especially the youth, should participate in social activities and help each other. Let’s be grateful.

Something that is intrinsic to who we are as human beings. It feeds the soul. When you volunteer, it’s important to enjoy yourself and put a smile on your face. The work we do as a team means that we give without expecting any return and we don’t miss any opportunity to volunteer!

A great chance to help those in need effectively and efficiently. By volunteering, I feel like I’m contributing to a greater cause and becoming a better person. By helping more people, we are able to save more people and create a happier community.

Altruism, connection and betterment. I enjoy being able to contribute to strengthening our social fabric. Giving someone your time is the most valuable gift. Even if you aren’t rich and cannot donate, donating your time and skills to do the needful is something that will leave an ever-lasting impact. Volunteerism is the best legacy to leave for our future generations.

Rewarding, enlightening, and it makes me feel grateful. Being able to contribute to the community without expecting anything in return is a great feeling. As a volunteer, you also learn the importance of keeping the personal differences aside and focusing on the task on hand. Selflessness is key.

Interesting, fun and heartwarming. Being able to learn new skills and learning to adapt to any situation have been some of the best things about being a volunteer. When you’re in the field, every action you take should be executed so that you can bring out your maximum potential.

Satisfying work and a valuable opportunity. Raising awareness, being part of the team, and engaging in activities like first aid and emergency response.
