Every year, as Maldivian pilgrims prepare to embark on one of the most significant journeys of their lives, MRC's Malé City Unit volunteers are there to see them off safely. This year was no different, throughout the Hajj departure period, MRC volunteers provided First Aid and Psychological First Aid services to pilgrims and families at the point of departure, offering care, reassurance, and support during what can be an emotionally and physically demanding time.

In close collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and partner agencies, MRC's Malé City Unit delivered comprehensive first aid and auxiliary support throughout the departure period. Dedicated first aiders and volunteers provided care, crowd management assistance, logistical support, and a warm, reassuring presence — working from early mornings to late nights to ensure a safe and smooth experience for every pilgrim.

This annual deployment reflects MRC's enduring commitment to being present where communities need it most. MRC is proud of its volunteers for their dedication, compassion, and the quiet but meaningful service they provide during this important period and extends warm wishes to all pilgrims departing for Hajj this year.
