MRC volunteers provided First Aid services at the official Guinness World Records attempt for the Most People Snorkeling Simultaneously, held at Niva Kurumba Maldives. Organised by Bank of Maldives, a partner of MRC under the Partners for Humanity Initiative. The event brought together participants from across the Maldives for an ambitious attempt on the world stage, and MRC's first aiders were on the ground throughout, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every participant.
Events of this scale and nature involving large numbers of participants in an open water setting ,re quire a prepared and responsive first aid presence. MRC's volunteers maintained a professional and ready presence throughout the event, ensuring that participants could focus on the moment while MRC stood by to respond to any situation that arose.
It was a meaningful occasion for MRC's volunteers to be part of one that brought communities together in a celebration of the Maldives' unique island spirit.
