MRC Secretary General Ahmed Shabin met with UNDP Maldives Resident Representative Adnan Cheema in an introductory meeting, bringing together two organizations with a shared commitment to strengthening humanitarian and development outcomes in the Maldives.
The discussion focused on opportunities to deepen the partnership between MRC and UNDP, with conversations centered on potential areas of mutual engagement in disaster risk reduction, disaster preparedness, and building community resilience across the Maldives.
