The four-day session brought together IHL practitioners and experts from across South Asia for shared learning and dialogue. This year's SATS focused on peacetime preparedness for the protection of civilians in armed conflict — exploring how national laws, policies, and institutions can strengthen civilian protection in situations of conflict. The session featured a panel discussion on the relevance of humanitarian principles and IHL, joined by senior representatives from across the region.
