The competition brought together swimmers across national and junior categories, open-water swim challenges, and a mixed relay — making the presence of a prepared and responsive first aid team an important part of ensuring the safety of all participants throughout the event. Open-water swimming events present a unique set of safety considerations, and MRC’s volunteers maintained a ready presence across the competition days, supporting the wellbeing of swimmers and participants and providing immediate care where needed.
MRC congratulates Maldives Aquatics on a successful 17th edition and thanks all volunteers who provided their time and service to support the safe delivery of the competition.
