Through a series of activities and guided reflection, participants explored key themes including communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, negotiation, and compromise. The session was designed to help young people develop the interpersonal skills they need to navigate differences, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to the communities around them — grounding these skills in practical, active learning rather than classroom instruction alone.

YABC is a flagship programme of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement that positions young people not as passive recipients of change, but as active agents capable of shaping the values and behaviours of their peers and communities. By delivering this session to the Girl Guides of Salaahudeen School, MRC is investing in a group of young women who are already engaged in service and community life — amplifying their potential to lead and inspire those around them.

MRC thanks the volunteers who facilitated the session and helped make the learning active, meaningful, and enjoyable for every participant.
