MRC Malé City Unit Adds 24 Trained First Aiders to Its Volunteer Network

The training provided participants with both the theoretical grounding and practical experience needed to act as first responders, building the kind of skills that are immediately applicable in real situations. The successful completion of all 24 participants reflects the commitment and enthusiasm brought to the Programme by both trainers and participants alike.

MRC’s Malé City Unit volunteers are regularly deployed across community events, sporting competitions, national ceremonies, and commercial gatherings throughout the year providing first aid coverage and ensuring the safety of participants and the public at every turn. Building and maintaining a pool of well-trained first aiders within the unit is central to sustaining that service. Each training cycle strengthens the unit’s capacity to respond adding prepared, confident volunteers to a network that the community of Malé relies on across a wide range of occasions.

This training marks another step in strengthening the capacity of Malé City Unit volunteers to provide timely first aid assistance and serve their communities when it matters most. MRC extends its appreciation to the dedicated trainers who facilitated the sessions and to every participant who gave their time and commitment to the three days.
