More than a visit, it was a moment of connection. MRC's volunteers sat with community members, heard their experiences, and took the time to share information about MRC's work and the programmes and services available to them. For many older persons, these visits are a reminder that they are seen, valued, and part of the community MRC is here to serve.

The visits form part of MRC's on-going Healthy Ageing Programme, which reflects the organisation's commitment to the inclusion and wellbeing of all members of the community, recognising that vulnerability takes many forms, and that older persons deserve the same care, attention, and dignity as anyone else.
As MRC marks 17 years of humanitarian service, this programme stands as one of the quiet but meaningful ways the organisation shows up, not only in emergencies, but in the everyday lives of the people it serves.
