MRC Gadhdhoo Unit Hosts Second Run for Humanity, Uniting the Community in GDh. Gadhdhoo

The day brought together a diverse mix of participants, community members, families, youth, and volunteers - all coming together on the same course with the same spirit. Whether setting a personal pace or cheering others on, every participant contributed to the energy that made the run what it was. The sense of togetherness on the day was a reflection of Gadhdhoo at its best - a community that shows up for one another.

The Run for Humanity series held across it's Units in the South Region is more than a race. It is an opportunity for MRC to engage directly with the community it serves, creating a space where residents can connect with MRC volunteers, learn about its programmes and services, and contribute to sustaining the humanitarian work that benefits communities across the island. The strong turnout in Gdh. Gadhdhoo reflects the growing community connection to MRC's mission and the meaningful role the Gadhdhoo Unit plays in island life.

The event is a testament to the dedication of MRC's Gadhdhoo Unit volunteers and MRC's South Regional Office, whose commitment to community engagement continues to strengthen MRC's presence and impact across the southern atolls. MRC thanks every participant, volunteer, and supporter who came out and made the day what it was and we look forward to doing it all again.
