MRC Delivers First Aid Awareness Sessions Across Schools in Greater Male' Area & Kulhudhuffushi City

Sessions were conducted at Ghaazee School, Aminiya School, Rehendhi School and Salaahudeen School in Greater Malé, and at Jalaluddin School and HDh. Atoll Education Center in Kulhudhuffushi City - collectively reaching more than 350 young participants. Each session introduced students to essential first aid concepts, equipping them with the awareness and basic skills to recognise and respond to common emergencies, whether at school, at home, or in their communities.

The breadth of these engagements across different regions reflects MRC's commitment to embedding first aid awareness across youth groups and educational institutions nationwid. These sessions recognise that schools and youth organisations are among the most effective channels for reaching young people with lifesaving knowledge. By working with established groups such as Girl Guides, Scouts, Little Maids, and Cadets, MRC is able to reach students within structures they are already part of, making the learning more accessible and more likely to be retained and applied.

MRC thanks the schools and youth group leaders who facilitated these sessions, and the volunteers who gave their time to deliver them. Every young person who leaves with even a basic understanding of first aid is one more person capable of making a difference when it matters most.
