Your experience, in your words
Since 2009, the work of the Maldivian Red Crescent has been carried by its volunteers, members and the communities it serves across the country. Much of what happens in our Units, during responses, trainings and everyday services, is lived first hand by these people. My Red Crescent Story is an open invitation to share that experience with us. Whether you volunteered at a response, learned first aid, received support from MRC or worked alongside us as a partner, your story is part of ours. Our team reads every submission. With your permission, we may feature your story on our channels, in our Annual Report, or keep it in the MRC archive.

A written story
Write a few lines or a few paragraphs about a moment with MRC, in your own words. It can be about you, or about a volunteer, member or staff member you know.
A story with photos
Pair your story with photos from the moment you describe, so others can see it the way you did.
Photos
Send photos from activities, responses or events, with a short caption saying who, where and when.
Short video
Film a short clip on your phone telling your story, or showing your team at work.
Voice note
Prefer to talk? Record a voice note in Dhivehi or English and our team will take it from there.
Your story, your choice
You decide how your story is used: on our channels, in our reports, in the archive only, or without your name. You can withdraw it at any time. Please share photos only of people who have agreed to be shown, with a parent or guardian’s consent for anyone under 18. We publish only content that respects everyone’s dignity, safety and privacy, and your information is stored securely and seen only by authorised MRC staff. If you would like to withdraw your consent or have your story removed, please email communications@redcrescent.org.mv and we will take care of it.
