Muna Farook

Muna is an experienced financial professional with a degree in Accounting and Banking from Curtin University. With over seven years of experience in the sector, she started her career at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, and then transitioned to the Maldives Monetary Authority. 

Muna enjoys volunteering, and in an effort to use her professional abilities to give back to the community, she joined as a member of the Finance Commission at the Maldivian Red Crescent in 2022. Her comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, accounting policies and principles of taxation makes her an invaluable asset to the commission. Currently, she continues to deepen her expertise by pursuing her ACCA studies.
