Vice President: Mohamed Hoodh Ibrahim

Mr. Hoodh is a political scientist, lecturer, board director, and management consultant with more than a decade of experience in high-level government, corporate management, and NGO charitable services. Hoodh has published research for UNESCO, UNDP, ADB, US State Department, UK RUSI, and MNU.

He serves as the UNESCO IYF Regional Facilitator for Asia Pacific, the Director of Global Strategic Institute for Sustainable Development, and as the Lead Editor for the Journal of Youth, Peace, and Security.

Hoodh served as the Chairperson of MRC Complaints Committee from 2022-2025. He has trained as ERT, First Aider and Psychosocial Support trainer. He previously served as Executive Secretary to the Secretary General and the Governing Board. In 2019, Hoodh was selected as the Youth Expert to represent the MRC at the Friends of North Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent Meeting in North Cyprus. Hoodh has been a volunteer and member of the Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) since 2013
